It gets no better than leftover turkey and college football. Rivalry week is upon us and, it will be Senior Day and the last college football game for some NFL hopefuls. The best week of college football, from the Iron Bowl to the Egg Bowl; to Bedlam. The final week of the college season has something for everyone. From heated rivalry games to massive games, to teams like Wake Forest, still playing for a shot at a New Years Six game but has to go up to Chestnut Hill and play a primed Boston College team. We dive into the top 5 games for the final week of the regular-season college football schedule.

1 The Game

2 Ohio State @ 5 Michigan – This is the biggest game of the regular season. The Big Game is a play-in-game to the College football playoff. The loser will get the consolation prize of playing in the Rose Bowl. Can CJ Stroud lead the Buckeyes to a 9th straight victory over the Wolverines? Or will the QB tandem of Cade McNamara and J.J McCarthy give Jim Harbaugh his first win over the Buckeyes? The game of the year; hopefully, it lives up to the build.

2 Bedlam

10 Oklahoma @ 7 Oklahoma State – It certainly will be bedlam Saturday night in Stillwater as Oklahoma travels to play their in-state rival. While this game is not a shoo-in game to the College Football Playoff, it has massive implications depending on the other top 5 team’s outcomes. It is also meaningful for the Big 12 Championship, especially for Oklahoma; should they lose, they could be out of the game if Baylor beats Texas Tech.

3 The battle for Paul Bunyan’s Axe

14 Wisconsin @ Minnesota – This game has zero connection to the College football playoff but has everything to do with The Big Ten West division. Should Wisconsin win, they would secure the Big Ten West. It will be difficult for the Golden Gophers to win the Big Ten West. They need a win and for Nebraska to beat Iowa and Purdue to beat Indiana. Minnesota will win the Big 10 West if everything falls into place.

4 The Iron Bowl

3 Alabama @ Auburn – The game, usually an exciting one, will not be this year. Auburn QB Bo Nix’s injury a couple of weeks ago removed the shine from the Iron Bowl. But if you talk to any Auburn or Alabama fan, this game is important to them no matter the circumstances. It also impacts the College Football Playoffs. With it being one of the biggest rivalry games, never put it past Auburn to pull upset at home.

5 The Sunshine Showdown

Florida vs. Florida State: Gators can prove their turnaround is real with a key rivalry win

Florida State @ Florida – This game has no magnitude to the College Football Playoff or a Conference Championship game. Both teams have slumped this year. But the winner of this game will become bowl eligible. Hard to imagine Florida State and Florida both are having such a bad year. The programs have such an impact on the game. The outcome will also help in the recruiting battle of the state. The one who wins will have more momentum coming into next year.
