Logano Ends Richmond Drought with Cookout 400 Win

If you enjoy green-flag racing on a beautiful Saturday night in Virginia, the Cookout 400 at Richmond Raceway was the race to attend. With the NASCAR playoffs just a couple of races away, fans were treated to a smooth race. The night featured only two cautions.

The 19-year veteran with Penske Ford, Joey Logano #22, pulled off a strategic victory. It ended a nine-year drought at Richmond Raceway. Logano’s experience and patience throughout the race ultimately paid off as he secured the win.

The two cautions of the night included a spin by Zane Smith #38, although he was able to continue, and Carson Hocevar #77, who missed a shift, blew his transmission, and ended his night early.
