The pressure was on to finish the season off with a championship. However, those dreams were erased by Detroit who capitalized on its lone scoring opportunity. The game’s only goal came in the 34th minute. Defender Devon Amoo-Mensah redirected a corner kick from Jay Chapman. The goal was Detroit City’s only shot on target. LouCity finished with 16 shots and nine corner kicks but Detroit defense was just too good.

His biggest moments came when he denied dangerous headers from veteran forward Brian Ownby, keeping Louisville off the scoreboard despite relentless pressure.
