The NBA is a league of stars. An elite duo will put you ahead of the competition and give you a greater chance of winning an NBA championship. Even though these players can be expensive, stars win you games in this league. Here are my top five duos in the NBA.
1. Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray

Jokic and Murray have proven to be the league’s best duo as they won the NBA championship last season. Jokic is the best player in the league. Murray coming off injury proved why he is still one of the best players in the league. The Nuggets went through the playoffs easily last season, and these two were the leading catalysts. They beat the Wolves in five, the Suns in six, the Lakers in four, and the Heat in five.
2. Kevin Durant and Devin Booker

Kevin Durant and Devin Booker are two elite scorers in the entire NBA. Durant is one of the greatest scorers of all time and will go down as one of the best players to ever live. This Sun’s team should have no problem putting the ball in the basket this upcoming season. Durant is a seven-footer with the ball handles of a guard and elite shooting ability. Booker still has height and can create his own shot. Booker can score from the perimeter, the post, and the inside.
3. LeBron James and Anthony Davis

Even with Lebron’s old age, he is one of the best duos alongside Davis. Anthony Davis is an elite offensive player but an even more elite defensive player. His ability to change shots and use his wingspan to his advantage is a rare physical attribute. James is still a very prolific offensive player and elite passer. James’s ability to get others involved to make his team better is one that makes him one of the greatest players of all time.
4. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown

Tatum and Brown have had playoff success since they came into the league. These two are some of the best, most efficient offensive players in the league. Brown recently signed an extension for five years, $304 million, which is the richest deal in NBA history. Tatum and Brown’s games complement each other very well, and the Celtics should keep them together for a long time.
5. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton

Antetokounmpo and Middleton did not have the playoff success they were looking for last season, but they are still one of the best duos in the league. Antetokounmpo is one of the most dominant players in the game and is constantly expanding his offensive game. His passing ability has reached an elite level and has benefited his team. Middleton is a prolific shooter and a very elite scorer of basketball. He is good in clutch situations and is constantly improving his game.
