ACC is going Bowling

It’s been a 15 week-journey, but the college football world has now entered bowl season.

For 2019, ten Atlantic Coast Conference teams will go bowling. Topping the list are the Clemson Tigers. The champions of the ACC will play Ohio State in the semifinals of the College Football Playoff.

The Tigers seek to go back-to-back as champions. Over the last four years, the ACC has produced 42 teams which played in bowl games, tying for the best among all conferences.

Additionally, the ACC has earned at least six bowl bids every year over the past two decades. It ranks second among all conferences with 137 bowl appearances since 2005.

Bowl times and dates:

  • Clemson vs Ohio State – PlayStation Fiesta Bowl, Dec. 28, 8 p.m
  • North Carolina vs Temple – Military Bowl, Dec. 27, 12 p.m.
  • Wake Forest vs Michigan State – Pinstripe Bowl, Dec. 27, 3:20 p.m.
  • Virginia vs Florida – Orange Florida Bowl, Dec. 30, 8 p.m.
  • Virginia Tech vs Kentucky – Belk Bowl, Dec. 31, 12 p.m.
  • Miami vs Louisiana Tech – Independence Bowl, Dec. 26, 3:00 p.m.
  • Pittsburgh vs  Eastern Michigan – Quick Lane, Dec. 26, 8:00 p.m.
  • Louisville vs Mississippi State – Music City, Dec. 30, 4:00 p.m.
  • Florida State vs Arizona State – Sun Bowl, Dec. 31, 2:00 p.m.
  • Boston College vs Cincinnati – Birmingham Bowl, Jan. 2, 3:00 p.m.
