NFL Free Agency Frenzy Is Underway; Latest News, Updates, Rumors, and More


The 2019 NFL Free Agency period is here.

Teams and players can begin legal ‘tampering’ today, but can not sign contracts until the new league year begins Wednesday.

Top free-agent names such as Le’Veon Bell, Earl Thomas, Nick Foles, and others are available as teams look to improve during this off season.

Here’s the latest news and notes at the start of NFL Free Agency:

  • OL Trent Brown plans to sign a 4-year $66 million contract with $36.75 million guaranteed, with the Oakland Raiders, making him highest paid OL, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
  • LB Kwon Alexander will sign a 4-year, $54 million, with the 49ers, with $27 million guaranteed, this according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
