At TCU, he appeared in three games during the 2023 season, gaining valuable experience at the collegiate level. According to 247 Sports, he is ranked as the No. 144 player overall in the transfer portal and the No. 28 receiver, highlighting his promise and potential impact. During his senior year at North Mesquite High School, Russell demonstrated his versatility and athleticism. He amassed 34 receptions for 725 yards and nine touchdowns. He also played on the defensive side of the ball as an edge rusher.

Russell’s addition to Colorado’s roster for the 2024 season is a strategic move, as he joins a high-powered offense. CU fans are hopeful that Russell will meet these projections and become a formidable weapon on the outside for the Buffaloes in the years to come. This transfer marks an exciting chapter for Cordale Russell and the Colorado Buffaloes, as they aim to build a dynamic and competitive team capable of making waves in the coming seasons.
