Jordan Miller was just unstoppable on Sunday! He had a flawless performance in the Midwest Region final against second-seeded Texas on Sunday. Miller, along with Isaiah Wong (the Atlantic Coast Conference player of the year) and Nijel Pack (a March Madness dynamo), saved the Hurricanes from a 13-point, second-half hole to earn a long-awaited trip to the national semifinals.

Wong scored 12 of his 14 points in the second half against the Longhorns, who had been the remaining top seed in a very chaotic NCAA Tournament this year. Miller finished with 27 points, finishing 7-7 from the floor and 13-13 from the foul line. The Hurricanes (29-7) will now face No. 4 seed UConn on Saturday night in Houston.

In the other national semifinal, fifth-seeded San Diego State and ninth-seeded Florida Atlantic will face off. For the first time since seeding started in 1979, there aren’t any top-3 seeds to make the Final Four. Miami was the 10th seed in the previous year’s regional final, where the Hurricanes were defeated by Kansas (the eventual national champion) 76-50.
