Drew Timme was just dominant as he usually is. The Gonzaga big man prolonged his exceptional college career by at least one more game on Sunday. He had 28 points to help the Zags beat TCU 84-81 in overtime to go to their eighth-straight Sweet 16.

Timme made a swerving shot in the lane while a defender was encircling him to start a 4-0 mini-run by the Bulldogs. This would put the game out of reach after the Horned Frogs narrowed the gap late to three points. The 6-foot-10 senior’s next destination, along with his Instagram-friendly mustache, is Las Vegas. That’s where his Zags will compete on Thursday, in the West Region quarterfinals against UCLA.

It will be a rematch of their Final Four contest from two years prior, which Jalen Suggs won by banking a shot in at the buzzer from the half-court logo. Mike Miles Jr. had 24 points and four assists for the sixth-seeded Horned Frogs (22-13). TCU was attempting to win two games in the same tournament for the first time in program history.
