NEW YORK — Jan. 28, 2026 — The NFL announced Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum recording artist Teddy Swims as the headline performer for the Super Bowl LX Tailgate Concert presented by NetApp, the league’s ultimate pregame party.

Livestreamed on Peacock at 3:50 p.m. ET on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, Teddy Swims’ performance will take place on the expansive stadium campus at the NFL’s legendary pre-game Tailgate Party, just outside Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara ahead of kickoff of Super Bowl LX. Fans can also listen to the concert live on 120 iHeart stations across the country and the iHeartRadio app.

Bay Area native LaRussell will perform an opening act before Swims and play as the in-stadium house band on game day, bringing a renowned local voice to Super Bowl celebrations.

The Super Bowl LX Tailgate Concert presented by NetApp brings the energy of the Bay Area’s pregame celebration directly to fans across the country, delivering a live, front-row experience before the championship game.

“The Super Bowl is one of those events I grew up watching with my dad and brothers and have always dreamed of being at and performing!” Swims said. “Coming from a football family – I played and watched my whole life – the Super Bowl was a favorite past time for me and my family to get around and hang together. It’s an honor to be a part of it and kick off the game!”

Originally from Atlanta, Grammy-nominated vocal powerhouse Teddy Swims (born Jaten Dimsdale) has emerged as one of music’s most compelling voices. With a sound that effortlessly blends R&B, soul and pop, Swims captivates listeners with raw emotion, soulful resonance and lyrics that explore love, loss and self-discovery. He broke through with his now certified diamond hit, “Lose Control” (a Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 and the longest-charting song in the chart’s history), helping propel his debut album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1), to widespread acclaim. Last year, Teddy released Part 2 and The Complete Edition, and earned his second career Grammy nomination, for Best Pop Vocal Album, at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards. He also embarked on a sold-out world tour in support of the album. This year, Teddy Swims is the only artist set to perform at both weekends of Coachella and Stagecoach, and was recently announced as a headliner at Bonnaroo and Bottlerock. With more than 12 billion career streams and sold-out global tours, Swims continues to cement his place as one of music’s most powerful voices.

Bay Area native LaRussell will bring an authentic local sound to Super Bowl LX, opening the Super Bowl LX Tailgate Concert presented by NetApp and serving as the in-stadium house band on game day. LaRussell, an independent artist and entrepreneur from Vallejo, Calif., has built a national following through a fan-forward approach, live backyard performances and a community-first business model that’s rooted in ownership, accessibility and collaboration.

“Music has taken me places I never imagined, and Super Bowl is definitely one of them,” LaRussell said. “Being part of Super Bowl week in my hometown means the world to me.”

The Super Bowl Tailgate Concert debuted during Super Bowl LIV as a virtual event and has since become a signature part of Super Bowl Sunday, featuring past headliners including Miley Cyrus, The Chainsmokers, The Black Keys, Jason Derulo, Gwen Stefani and Post Malone. For Super Bowl LX, the tradition continues in the Bay Area, uniting world-class entertainment, Bay Area voices and the unmatched energy of the NFL’s Big Game, kicking off an unforgettable Super Bowl Sunday.

The Super Bowl LX Tailgate Concert will take place ahead of the previously announced Super Bowl LX Opening Ceremony featuring Green Day and pregame entertainment lineup featuring Charlie Puth, Brandi Carlile and Coco Jones.

As the Official Intelligent Data Infrastructure Partner of the National Football League, NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) provides the enterprise-grade data platform that powers operations for Super Bowl LX.

NBC, Peacock, Telemundo, and Universo will present Super Bowl LX on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026. Coverage on NBC and Peacock begins at Noon ET with Road to the Super Bowl.

About Teddy Swims

Reigning from Atlanta, GA, Grammy-nominated vocal powerhouse Teddy Swims (born Jaten Dimsdale) has been putting in real work for years. A quiet, steady grind brought him to the forefront with record-breaking songs, sold-out global tours, and iconic performances. With a voice that effortlessly blends R&B, soul, and pop, Swims captivates listeners with raw emotion, soulful resonance, and lyrics that explore love, loss, and self-discovery.

His rise reached new heights with I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy, a multi-part debut album that produced the Diamond-certified global smash “Lose Control.” The song hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, became the longest-charting Hot 100 hit in history, topped five radio formats, and has surpassed 4 billion streams while his catalog has eclipsed over 12 billion streams. Swims earned his first Grammy nomination in 2025 for Best New Artist and is up for Best Pop Vocal Album this year for I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2). He also embarked on a sold-out world tour in support of the album, and is set to play major festivals this year including Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Bottlerock.

About LaRussell

LaRussell is a shining star coming out of the Bay Area. He’s an independent artist and entrepreneur from Vallejo, California. LaRussell has redefined what it means to build at the community level while operating on a national stage. Known for his direct-to-fan approach, live backyard performances, and commitment to ownership, LaRussell has built an independent ecosystem that bridges music, culture, and real-world impact. LaRussell has recently set the world record for highest digital album sold with an $11,000 contribution from NBA star Kyrie Irving. Instead of putting that money in his pocket, LaRussell elected to give the entire amount away to the community. His presence at Super Bowl week reflects a broader mission: to show how independent artists can partner with major platforms while staying authentic and community-driven. LaRussell continues to make history and pave an uncharted path for independent artists.
