COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women’s soccer opens the 2024 season by hosting No. 24 Duke Thursday evening at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. The match will kick off at 7 p.m. and be streamed on B1G+.

Admission and parking are free for all Ohio State women’s soccer matches.

  • This is the Buckeyes eighth match up against the Blue Devils. Duke leads the all-time series 6-1-0.
  • Ohio State’s lone win against Duke was in 2014 at a neutral site in Chapel Hill, N.C., when Alexis Degler scored the game winner in the 67th minute.
  • Ohio State is 22-24-1 all-time against current ACC teams
  • Ohio State is in its 32nd season and its 28th under the direction of head coach Lori Walker Hock.
  • The Buckeyes have 39 wins all-time against Top 25 ranked teams. Two of those wins came last season over No. 16 Indiana and No. 12 Wisconsin.
  • Fifth-year Peyton McNamara, senior Sydney Jones and sophomore Amanda Schlueter were all named Big Ten Players to Watch this season.
  • The Buckeyes were predicted to finish ninth in the Big Ten by the league’s 18 head coaches.
  • Senior forward Kailyn Dudukovich is the team’s leading returning scorer as she has 25 career goals and 59 career points. Both totals are in the Top 15 in program history.
  • Dudukovich is coming off a 27-point season last year as junior. That was the 9th most in a season in program history and the most since Sammy Edwards had 28 points in 2016.
  • Sophomore forward Amanda Schlueter had a great freshman season, scoring six goals and tallying seven assists. Her 19 points were the sixth-most by a freshman in OSU history.
  • Junior goalkeeper Molly Pritchard started all 19 matches last season and has appeared in 38 matches over her first two season. She made 78 saves last season and had three shutouts.
