Hailey Van Lith Chooses TCU

Hailey Van Lith, a former standout of the University of Louisville and guard at LSU is set to embark on a new chapter in her collegiate career by joining Texas Christian University (TCU) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. This move comes after Van Lith’s stint with the LSU Tigers, where she averaged 11.6 points and 3.6 assists per game. Standing tall at 5 feet 7 inches, Van Lith, renowned for her prowess on the court, notably earned the prestigious title of a two-time first-team All-ACC selection during her three-year tenure with the Louisville Cardinals.

Her transition to LSU was marked by anticipation and excitement, as her arrival, along with other notable transfers, bolstered the Tigers’ roster, propelling them into contention as the top-ranked preseason team in the nation. This influx of talent significantly contributed to LSU’s formidable presence throughout the season, culminating in another appearance in the Elite Eight. Van Lith’s journey to LSU followed a remarkable performance at Louisville, where she played a pivotal role in guiding the Cardinals to the coveted Final Four in 2022.

However, upon her transfer to Baton Rouge, she embraced a different role within the team dynamics, adjusting her offensive approach accordingly. SHe had her struggles but helped led LSU to a deep March Madness run.
