Amassing 51 total tackles, surpassing his previous high of 38 in 2021 with Georgia Tech, he showcased his defensive prowess. Additionally, his 31 solo tackles marked a personal best since recording 20 in 2020 with the Yellow Jackets. Notably, Domineck notched five sacks for the Buffaloes this season, culminating in 12.5 combined sacks over his final two seasons. A standout game for Domineck occurred against the no. 23 UCLA Bruins at the Rose Bowl on October 28th, despite the Buffaloes’ 28-16 loss.

In this game, he displayed dominance on the defensive end, recording nine total tackles, including five solo tackles and four assisted tackles, along with two sacks. Remarkably consistent throughout the 2023 season, Domineck contributed an assisted tackle in every game and registered a solo tackle in all but one game, notably absent on November 25th against Utah in a 23-17 loss. Notably, Domineck ranked fifth on the team in total tackles and shared the lead in sacks with middle linebacker Lavonta Bentley.

NFLDraftBuzz.com lauded Domineck for his instinctive play, excellent handwork, and explosive first step off the line. He demonstrated effectiveness against the run, showcasing a firm base and adept edge-setting abilities, coupled with impressive range and toughness as a run defender. However, Domineck’s weaknesses were also noted by Draftbuzz, particularly his struggles in shedding blockers and a lack of ideal lateral movement skills.

While he maintains involvement in plays, he occasionally exhibits a tendency to lose control and inadvertently play himself out of action. During Colorado’s pro day, Domineck recorded a 40-yard dash time of 4.93 seconds and a 24.00” vertical jump. DraftBuzz assigned Domineck an overall rating of 56.2 out of 100, projecting him as an Undrafted Free Agent (UDFA). He was ranked as the 475th overall prospect and the 74th edge player overall.
