Two of the most prominent names in the junior welterweight division are set to face off in a highly anticipated fight scheduled for April 20th.

Ryan Garcia is known for his dangerous punching power and lightning-fast hands, traits that have garnered him widespread attention. His massive presence on social media and highlight-reel knockouts have solidified his position as a fan favorite. In contrast, Devin Haney is a former undisputed world champion in the lightweight category who previously held all four belts simultaneously. Since moving up to the 140-lb division, he has claimed one of the four belts already.

Both young fighters have already had noteworthy reputations so far. However, this fight did not come easily. Negotiations for this matchup were canceled because Garcia set up a different fight with another belt holder in the division. Ultimately, that fight fell through, leading to this showdown.

These two fighters have squared off in the amateur ring six times, with each emerging victorious on three occasions. Now, as they enter the professional spotlight, this anticipated showdown seeks to break the deadlock and establish the superior fighter.

Haney will likely be the favorite due to his exceptional boxing ability and dominant performance the last time we saw him in the ring. Additionally, his perfect 31-0 record further adds to his credibility. Meanwhile, Garcia aims to regain his confidence after getting TKO’d by Gervonta Davis last April. This marked his first defeat in pro boxing.

This matchup promises to deliver an electrifying display, featuring two of today’s most entertaining and popular fighters in the world!
