
Tristan Da Silva, the senior forward for the Colorado Buffaloes, is SRA’s Pac-12 Player of the Week following his stellar performances in two home victories. Da Silva led the Buffaloes to triumphs over the California Golden Bears on Wednesday and the Stanford Cardinal on Sunday, showcasing his prowess on the court. In the matchup against the Golden Bears, Da Silva displayed his versatility, tallying 22 points on 7-of-13 shooting while contributing seven rebounds and six assists in an 88-78 victory for Colorado.

Despite a 1-for-5 showing from beyond the arc, Da Silva remained flawless from the free-throw line, sinking all seven attempts. His standout performance continued during Sunday’s game against the Stanford Cardinal, where Da Silva recorded a double-double with a season-high 27 points on 11-of-18 shooting along with 11 rebounds. Notably, he exhibited sharpshooting from long range, converting 50% of his three-point attempts, going 5-for-10.
Over the course of the two games, Da Silva maintained a steady performance, committing only five turnovers while securing four steals in 77 minutes of play. Da Silva’s shooting statistics for the season remain consistent with his previous performances, boasting a 47.2% shooting accuracy overall and a 36.8% success rate from three-point range. Notably, he has significantly improved his free-throw shooting, elevating his percentage from 75.5% last season to an impressive 83.9% this season.

On average, Da Silva contributes 15.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. The recent displays mark Da Silva’s highest scoring outputs during conference play this season, with the senior exceeding the 20-point mark seven times. His previous 20-point performance came during a 99-79 home loss against the then-No. 8 Arizona Wildcats on February 10th.
Another noteworthy display occurred during an 82-78 loss at California on January 10th, where Da Silva also surpassed the 20-point threshold. Tristan Da Silva’s consistent contributions and standout performances have been instrumental in propelling the Colorado Buffaloes to success, earning him well-deserved recognition as the Pac-12 Player of the Week.
