2023-24 USBWA ANN MEYERS DRYSDALE AND ALL-AMERICA WATCH LIST

Georgia Amoore, Virginia Tech
One of USBWA’s National Players of the Week in February, Amoore became Virginia Tech’s all-time leader in assists this season. Her 17.9 points and 7.6 assists (third nationally) per game helped the Hokies clinch the No. 1 seed in the upcoming ACC Tournament for the first time ever.

Meghan Andersen, Fairfield (Freshman eligible for Tamika Catchings Award)
A Tamika Catchings National Freshman of the Week honoree this season, Andersen is just one of two freshmen nationally shooting better than 50% from the field while averaging at least 16 points and five rebounds per game. Her play has helped Fairfield win 22 straight games and win a regular season MAAC title.

Raegan Beers, Oregon State
Beers is seventh in the nation in field goal percentage, making 66.5% of her shots from the floor. The reigning Pac-12 Freshman and Sixth Player of the Year is averaging 17.5 points and 10.7 rebounds per game.

Lauren Betts, UCLA
One of USBWA’s National Players of the Week in December, Betts is shooting 67% from the floor this season, which is fifth nationally. She’s also 25th in blocks per-game with 2.1.

Madison Booker, Texas (Freshman eligible for Tamika Catchings Award)
Recognized twice in the USWBA’s weekly awards this season, Booker has stepped up big-time for Texas, averaging 16 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.8 assists per-game. Booker shoots 88.4% from the free throw line, which is the best mark among all freshmen nationally who have attempted at least 100 free throws this season.

Cameron Brink, Stanford
A two-time USBWA Co-National Player of the Week this season, Brink leads the nation in blocks per game (3.7) and is eighth in rebounds per game (11.2), while also scoring 17.7 points. Her play helped Stanford win the Pac-12 regular season title.

Tayla Brugler, St. Joseph’s
One of USBWA’s National Players of the Week in December, Brugler’s per game averages of 16.5 points and 4.3 rebounds have helped the Hawks to a 25-3 record – the most wins they’ve had in a single season since the 1999-2000 campaign.

Paige Bueckers, UConn
A two-time USBWA Co-National Player of the Week this season, Bueckers is averaging career-bests in points (20.8) and rebounds (4.5) per game for the Huskies this season after sitting out all of last year while recovering from a knee injury.

Kamilla Cardoso, South Carolina
A four-time USBWA Co-National Player of the Week this season, Cardoso leads undefeated and AP-ranked No. 1 South Carolina in points (14.1), rebounds (10.1) and blocks (2.9) per game this season.

Kaitlyn Chen, Princeton
One of USBWA’s National Players of the Week in February, Chen is the leader in points (15.9) and assists (4.7) per game for a Princeton team that is 20-4, enjoyed a 15-game winning streak, and spent five weeks ranked in the AP Top 25 Poll this season.

Caitlin Clark, Iowa
An eight-time USBWA Co-National Player of the Week this season and the reigning winner of the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award, Clark became the all-time leading scorer in the history of NCAA Division I women’s college basketball this season. Both of her 32.1 points and 8.5 assists per game lead the nation.

Aaliyah Edwards, UConn
A two-time USBWA Co-National Player of the Week this season and a third-team USBWA All-American last season, Edwards is averaging 18 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game this season. Her 14 double-doubles are the most among any Big East players this season.

Yvonne Ejim, Gonzaga
One of USBWA’s National Players of the Week in December, Ejim is second in the nation in 2-pointers made per game with 8.6. Her 20.6 points and 8.4 rebounds per game have helped Gonzaga to a 28-2 record while spending 12 straight weeks in the AP Top 25 Poll.

Dyaisha Fair, Syracuse
A two-time USBWA Co-National Player of the Week this season, Fair recently passed Baylor’s Brittney Griner to move into fifth place on the NCAA Division I women’s basketball all-time scoring list. She’s third in the ACC and 13th nationally in scoring this season with 21.8 points per game while helping the Orange win 13 conference games for just the third time in program history.

Lauren Gustin, BYU
Gustin leads the nation in rebounding with 15.3 boards per game. She also averages 17.1 points per game and has topped 20 points in a game 10 times this season.

Madison Hayes, NC State
One of USBWA’s National Players of the Week in February, the versatile and efficient Hayes is just one of three players nationally who averages at least 12 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while also shooting better than 40% from behind the arc and making at least 1.5 3-pointers per game.

Hannah Hidalgo, Notre Dame (Freshman eligible for Tamika Catchings Award)
A three-time winner this season of the USBWA’s Tamika Catchings National Freshman of the Week, Hidalgo leads the nation in scoring with 4.9 steals per game and is fourth in the nation – and first in the ACC – in scoring with 23.7 points per game. She’s been named ACC Rookie of the Week a record-setting 11 times this season and became the fastest player in Notre Dame history to reach 500 career points. Her 132 steals so far this season are also a program record for the Irish.

McKenna Hofschild, Colorado State
The reigning Mountain West Player of the Year is sixth in the nation in points (23.5) and fourth in assists (7.2) per game while shooting a solid 43.4% from 3-point range. She was an AP honorable mention All-American last season.

MacKenzie Holmes, Indiana
A first-team AP All-American last season and the reigning Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, Holmes is averaging 20.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game this season while shooting 65.6% from the floor.

Abbey Hsu, Columbia
The Lions’ all-time leader in 3-pointers made in a career, Hsu recently became just the fourth Ivy League player to ever score 2,000 points or more in a career. Hsu scored 26 points this past weekend to help Columbia defeat Princeton, giving the program its first win over an AP Top 25 opponent in 13 tries. Her 20.8 points per game this season ranks 18th nationally.

Kiki Irafen, Stanford
One of USBWA’s National Players of the Week in November, Irafen leads Stanford in scoring this season with 18,7 points per game and is ninth nationally in rebounding with 11.2 boards per game.

Rickea Jackson, Tennessee
One of USBWA’s National Players of the Week in January, the fifth-year forward has proven to be a complete two-way player and three-level scorer. She leads Tennessee in scoring and rebounding with 18.8 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.

Aziaha James, NC State
The Virginia Beach, Va., native took a big leap for the Wolfpack this season, increasing her scoring average from 6.8 points to 16 points per game. She’s also averaging a career-best 4.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists while shooting 33% from 3-point land and 75% from the charity stripe. N.C. State is 9-1 when she scores 18 points or more.

Deja Kelly, North Carolina
One of USBWA’s National Players of the Week in January, Kelly is gifted at getting to the charity stripe, ranking second nationally in free throws attempted this season with 207. She’s also averaging career-best in points (17.1) and assists (3.3) per game.

Elizabeth Kitley, Virginia Tech
A two-time USBWA Co-National Player of the Week this season and the two-time reigning ACC Player of the Year, Kitley became the ACC’s all-time leading rebounder this season. Kitley leads the nation in 2-pointers made, is eighth in points per game (23.3) and sixth in rebounding (11.6). Virginia Tech became the first ACC program to host ESPN’s College GameDay for women’s basketball with Kitley leading the way.

Kate Martin, Iowa
The fifth-year guard averaged 13.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. She’s the first Iowa women’s basketball player to have tallied at least 900 points, 500 rebounds, 400 assists, 120 steals and 60 blocks in a career.

Cotie McMahon, Ohio State
A two-time USBWA Co-National Player of the Week this season, McMahon averages 14.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game for the AP-ranked No. 2 Buckeyes. She scored a season-high 33 points in Ohio State’s signature win over Iowa on Jan. 21.

Aneesah Morrow, LSU
One of USBWA’s National Players of the Week in November, Morrow is the only player in the country averaging at least 16 points, 10 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game this season. She does a little bit of everything for LSU and had a season-high 37 points in a neutral-site win over Virginia.

Lucy Olsen, Villanova
A two-time USBWA Co-National Player of the Week this season, Olsen filled the void left by Maddy Siegrist for Villanova, increasing her scoring average from last season of 12.4 points per game to 23.6 points this season, which is fifth best in the nation. She’s also just one of four players nationally averaging at least 23 points, four rebounds and four assists per game.

Charisma Osborne, UCLA
The veteran leader of the Bruins this season, Osborne averages 14.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game this season.

Te-Hina Paopao, South Carolina
PaoPao is shooting a career-best 48.9% from 3-point land this season, which is 12th best nationally. She’s second in scoring for the undefeated Gamecocks, averaging 11.5 points per game.

Alissa Pili, Utah
One of USBWA’s National Players of the Week in December, Pili is averaging 21.7 points per game this season, which is 14th best in the nation. No player has scored more points against South Carolina this season than Pili’s 37-point performance on Dec. 10.

Ja’Naiya Quinerly, West Virginia
One of USBWA’s National Players of the Week in January, Quinerly is 10th nationally in steals with 3.2 per game. She also leads West Virginia in scoring with 19.7 points per game. She recently notched a season-high 33 points against Baylor on Feb. 24.

Angel Reese, LSU
The Most Outstanding Player at the 2023 Final Four, Reese’s strong play has continued for LSU. She leads the nation in offensive rebounds (5.8) and free throw attempts (8.8) per game while also scoring 19.1 points per game. She recently became the sixth player in LSU history to score more than 2,000 points.

Rachael Rose, Wofford
Rose is third in the nation in points (23.8), 10th in field goals made (8.3) and 13th in assists (6.1) per game as she does it all for Wofford. She recorded a triple-double in a win over Furman on Jan. 20, and is the only player in the country averaging at least 23 points, nine rebounds and six assists per game.

Jacy Sheldon, Ohio State
A two-time USBWA Co-National Player of the Week this season, Sheldon leads the Buckeyes in scoring and passing this season with 18 points and 3.7 assists per game.

Jaylyn Sherrod, Colorado
One of USBWA’s National Players of the Week in January, Sherrod leads Colorado with 12.9 points, 4.8 assists and 2.1 steals per game. She’s shown up in big games too, tallying 19 points and eight rebounds in a win over LSU, and 34 points in a win over Utah.

Alyssa Ustby, North Carolina
One of USBWA’s National Players of the Week in January, Ustby notched the first triple-double in program history for North Carolina this season. The Tar Heels are 11-3 this season when she secures a double-double. Since the 2009-10 season, Ustby is the only player from a major conference team to average at least 12.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.25 blocks per game.

JuJu Watkins, USC (Freshman eligible for Tamika Catchings Award)
Recognized four times this season by the USBWA’s weekly national awards, Watkins is second nationally in scoring this season with 28.2 points per game. She’s had 11 games of 30 points or more this season, breaking Cheryl Miller’s record of the most by any USC player in a single season. Watkins also broke Miller’s single-game scoring record this season when she dropped 51 points at Stanford on Feb. 2. It was the most points a freshman had scored in a single game since Delaware’s Elena Delle Donne had 54 points against James Madison in 2010.

Laura Ziegler, St. Joseph’s
Ziegler forms a dynamic duo with teammate Tayla Brugler for St. Joe’s. Ziegler averages 14.5 points and a team-leading 9.9 rebounds per game. The Hawks are 11-1 this season when she has a double-double.
