With the latest consolidation in the industry, the United Football League (UFL) is a fusion of franchises from the XFL and USFL. The teams are gearing up for training camp.
The UFL opted to reclaim the moniker “United Football League.” a nod to the past. Comprising four former XFL teams and for from the USFL, the league seeks to reignite passion among fans with its blend of tradition and innovation. In a strategic move to mitigate overlap and establish distinct identities within markets, the UFL have rebranded the Houston franchise formerly belonging to the USFL with the name of the XFL Houston team.
