All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey has finally gotten his wish.

After experiencing injuries to the backfield, the Ravens traded him for cornerback Marcus Peters from the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for linebacker Kenny Young and an undisclosed 2020 draft pick.

The move was all a part of a grand scheme to trade a Pro Bowl player for an All-Pro player. The Rams also swapped two, first-round picks and a fourth-round pick for Ramsey of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Ramsey has one more year on his rookie deal after the Jaguars, his $13.7 million, fifth-year option for 2020. As one of the premier players in the sport, it appeared a foregone conclusion he would get paid.

But, the Jaguars did not budge on a contract and Ramsey demanded a trade last month.

The Rams are stacked with Pro Bowl and All-Pro players littered throughout their roster. They moved from 60-1 to 50-1 to win the Super Bowl and 25-1 to 20-1 to win the NFC at Caesars Sportsbook.

After being out to care for his newborn baby, it seems Ramsey is ready to return to the field now that he’s is on a team that’s a true contender.
